About Ahmad Pelzer
From Merritt Island, Florida, Ahmad Pelzer is a skilled entrepreneur operating within the real estate industry. Previously, Ahmad worked as Senior Project Manager for a multi-million dollar American aerospace and defense technology company. He stayed with the company for over five years before moving on to his next position. Utilizing his decades worth of experience in leadership roles and detailed procedures, Ahmad brings an intentional diligence to the field that is unmatched by many. He is in charge of developing strategic Information Technology plans that will be later executed for internal purposes. In the five-plus years he has been serving in this capacity, Ahmad has initiated, planned and scheduled ten conference rooms upgraded for the main campus, supporting 4,000-plus employees. His financial savviness saved the company $20k in one of the projects he oversaw, delivering successful metrics on the desired timeline.
Prior to his recent position, Ahmad Pelzer served as a Senior Project Lead for nearly five years at IBM, leading projects on multi-million dollar updates for the external customer base. Alongside his civilian career, Ahmad also served in the U.S. Army for 38 years. After having reached this milestone and becoming a Colonel after many years of diligent service, Ahmad bid farewell to this chapter of his life in late 2020. Throughout his years of service, he acted as a beneficent project manager and a mentor to the junior leaders and staff. Shortly after exiting this role, however, Ahmad grew involved in and has since paid homage to his counterparts by serving as a Board Member with the Museum of Military History, which exists to educate and commemorate American military history.
Ahmad Pelzer has a diverse educational background, having received his Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, his Master’s degree in Internet Engineering and his Master of Business Administration degree. However, as of 2021, Ahmad chose to return to his academic heritage, resulting in him attending Florida International University. He graduated in 2023 with a Master’s degree in International Real Estate.
Throughout his career, Ahmad has built the necessary skills needed in business development, many of which were learned throughout his military experience. In his role, he had the strenuous responsibility of strategically placing signal equipment in a place where it was least likely to get bombed or destroyed. Balancing this calculated risk with an unpredictable environment educated Ahmad on the principles dealt with in startup businesses. Reflecting on these similarities, it became clear to Ahmad that startups are dependent on an elaborate business plan and precise yet flexible supply chain strategy. Looking forward, he hopes to strategically sit down with business owners to figure out the best course of action for their startups.
Ahmad Pelzer has been regarded on numerous occasions for his strategic leadership skills and planning abilities. He has a number of certifications under his belt, one of them being the Board Leadership Program certificate awarded by The African American Board Leadership Institute. His exhaustive list of business skills never run dry, with his mastery comprising advanced corporate finance, applied business statistics, international finance, marketing, operations and strategic project management.
